Dr.
Canedy is a board certified
orthopedic surgeon and has been
in private practice since 1988.
He holds several board and leadership
positions in the healthcare
industry and community. His
commitment to providing innovative
solutions to healthcare delivery
and practice management has
led the way for PPA to grow
and meet the needs of more and
more practices. Dr. Canedy
also launched
SimplyWell,
an online application to provide
appropriate healthcare and health
management solutions to organizations
and their employees.

A graduate of Notre Dame University and Creighton University School of Law Ann has over 20 years of healthcare and human resources management experience in senior level positions. She spent several years at both Clarkson Hospital and University of Nebraska Medical Center and brings to PPA a wealth of experience in operations management, strategic planning, process management, organizational development and human resources. Ashford will also head up Paramount Group, a division of PPA, responsible for contracting and payor negotiation services for physicians. Ann also is Vice Chair for ICAN (Institute for Career Advancement Needs) and Chair for Conference for Inclusive Communities, a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Heartland Healthcare Executive Group.

received his bachelor's degree

University and his Juris Doctor

of Law. Prior to joining PPA,
Michael practiced law primarily

oversees the payer negotiation
and contracting functions and
legal matters and is part of

Team and New Products Team.

Theresa, with over 25 years of healthcare
experience, assists in the day-to-day
functions of the Contracting Department
and acts as a liaison between the
physician office and insurance payor.
She has over twelve years of credentialing
experience and is responsible for
all areas of the credentialing and
recredentialing process for PPA/Paramount
Group. Over the past ten years, Theresa
facilitates the application process
for new and existing providers in
obtaining hospital privileges, licensures
and participation status with insurance
payors.
